LS3040 Desktop
The Laserscript LS3040 is our premium desktop machine and is highly specified, making it equally suitable for businesses and private users alike.
With a 35W laser tube as standard and convenient 50W and 60W power upgrades available, the LS3040 is as flexible as it is hard-working. Key features are a visible red-dot pointer, which allows you to align your work before cutting; and 80mm table height adjustment as standard.
Critical safety features are integrated into the design. The class 1 laser enclosure ensures that the laser beam is safely contained during normal operation. With the keyed on/off switch, you can prevent any unauthorised access or operation.
Machine Specifications
A flexible all-rounder
Our LS3040 boasts a 300mm x 400mm honeycomb bed with a manual height (Z axis) adjustment of 80mm.
The standard 35W water cooled CO2 glass laser tube is capable of engraving and cutting a wide range of materials. Suitable for work with paper, card, fabrics, leather, plastics, rubber and wood. Using the additional power of the 50W and 60W laser tube options, slate, stone and glass can be engraved. It will even enable you to mark uncoated metals with the aid of a ceramic marking compound.
We use only the highest quality mirrors and coated lenses in the LS3040, selected and engineered for reliability and long-life. A red-dot pointer and work area test function provide safe, visual indicators, which allow you to position your materials perfectly every time.

The complete LS3040 package
The LS3040 comes as a complete package, so that the customer can get to work without delay. No need to go out and find extra components, as it includes the following:
- Separate air assist compressor to disperse heat, smoke and debris from the work area
- Fume extraction fan and flexible hoses
- IP68 submersible water pump and 35 litre water tank
- RDWorks software as standard. Lightburn software is available on request.
Optional stand-alone fume filter and water chiller are available to perfectly integrate with the LS3040.
